Benefits of membership

A member of the unemployment fund is entitled to earnings-related allowance during times of employment and temporary lay-off as well as to a job alternation leave allowance based on the earnings-related allowance during a job alternation leave.

The duration of the benefit paid by the unemployment fund also generates pension.

Transfer of membership periods

Membership periods can be transferred between employee funds as well as from an entrepreneur fund to an employee fund or from an employee fund to an entrepreneur fund. Also periods of employment in contract states (EU and EEC countries as well as the Nordic countries) and periods of membership in an unemployment fund in Sweden and in Denmark can be approved as periods of membership.
