The collective agreement of the mechanical woodworking sector concerns sawmills, planing mills, impregnation plants, factories producing plywood, wood elements, prefabricated wooden houses, building joinery products, wooden cases wood panels and chipboard, and the fibreboard factories operating in connection with these branches. The number of workers in these branches is 18,000.

The collective agreement of the carpentry sector concerns businesses active in carpentry. The number of workers in this branch is 12,000.

The collective agreement of the boatbuilding sector concerns 900 workers.

The collective agreement of the brushmaking sector concerns the brushmaking industry and industrial plants comparable to these. The number of workers in the branch is 120.

The collective agreement of forestry concerns workers in timber processing, forest management and forest improvement, other forestry work, timber floating and auxiliary duties. The number of workers in the branch is 5,000.

The collective agreement of the forestry machinery concerns mechanical forestry work, which includes:

Timber felling, processing and handling using mechanical means outside industrial plants, transport of timber and wood chips, loading and unloading of timber in industrial plants, warehouses or harbours, digging and maintenance of forest drainage ditches, construction and maintenance of logging roads, silviculture and soil preparation, spreading of pesticides and fertilizers, harvesting of timber for energy use, recovery of timber-bound energy, chipping operations; as well as the installation, maintenance and reparation of machinery and equipment needed for the duties listed above, and the transport of such machinery and equipment between sites.

The number of workers in the branch is 2,500.

The collective agreement of the plant nursery branch concerns workers in plant nursery duties.

These are also taken to include other work related to the production activity in nurseries, such as seed extraction, collection of cones from standing trees, seed cultivation and forest improvement.

Work in the plant nursery branch is mainly seasonal and employs 500 workers.

The collective agreement of the peat industry concerns 200 workers.

The collective agreement for service providers within peat and pellet industries covers the member companies of the Employers' Association TIKLI providing services in the processing of biomass for energy use.

The collective agreement of allied rural industries covers the employment contracts of workers employed by companies active in rural industries.

For the purposes of this collective agreement, rural industries consist of agriculture, including the following:

• further processing of products mainly produced on the farm,
• preparation for commerce and sales as part of farm activity, or work in packaging plants for vegetables and other produce which operate as companies adjacent to farms and in which products of the owner companies are prepared for commerce and stored,
• field cultivation of vegetables, berries and special plants on the farm,
• farm relief work,
• poultry breeding and rearing farms,
• bee farms,
• fish rearing and breeding farms,
• riding stables, riding schools and amateur equestrian or racehorse stables,
• farm zoos,
• agricultural research institutes (private),
• rural tourism as auxiliary farm activity and animal boarding activity

The number of permanent workers in the branch is 1,000; the number of seasonal workers is considerably higher.

The collective agreement of the horticultural branch concerns the production of flowers, plants, vegetables, seedlings and mushrooms, and the renting and maintenance of blooming or green plants by grower-operated flower and plant shops and horticultural centres in which plant maintenance forms a significant part of the business activity, and the wholesale and retail sale of horticultural produce. The number of workers in the branch is 2,000. The work is partly seasonal.

The collective agreement of the landscaping sector concerns landscape construction, maintenance of landscaped and recreation areas, other duties in landscaping businesses and in a horticultural retail outlet operating adjacent to a landscaping business.The number of workers in the branch is 200.

The collective agreement of the fur farming sector concerns the employment contracts between companies in the branch and their workers.

The contract also concerns pelting centres and feed kitchens operating adjacent to fur farms.The number of workers in the branch is 200.

The collective agreement concerning fur farming is applied to workers at fur farms and related activities.
